This Privacy Policy describes how Worm Out! (the "App"), developed and published by Muhammet Özata ("we", "us", or "our"), handles information when you use our mobile application available on the Google Play Store.
Worm Out! is a free-to-play puzzle game suitable for all ages. We are committed to protecting the privacy of all our users. By downloading or using the App, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy.

What the App does collect is described in Section 5 (advertising), Section 5A (usage analytics and crash reports) and Section 5B (optional cloud backup).
The App stores a small amount of non-personal game data exclusively on your device using the device's local storage (SharedPreferences). This data never leaves your device and includes:
This data is purely functional and required for the App to remember your game progress and settings. It contains no personally identifiable information. You can delete this data at any time by clearing the App's data in your device settings or by uninstalling the App.
Worm Out! is a completely free application. We do not offer any in-app purchases, subscriptions, premium features, virtual currencies, or any other paid content. No financial information (credit card numbers, bank details, payment tokens) is ever collected or processed by the App.
The App may display advertisements provided by Google AdMob, a third-party advertising service operated by Google LLC. These ads help us keep the App free for all users.
Google AdMob may collect certain information to serve and personalize ads, including device identifiers, IP address, and general usage data. This data collection is governed by Google's own privacy policy, not ours. We do not have access to or control over data collected by AdMob.

The App uses Google Analytics for Firebase to understand how the game is actually played, so that we can fix what is broken — for example which level people get stuck on, or how often a player taps a piece that cannot move. It also uses Firebase Crashlytics so that crashes are reported to us automatically.
These events are aggregated: we look at totals and averages across all players and do not use them to identify an individual. Data is processed by Google LLC as described in the Firebase Privacy and Security documentation, and is retained for up to 14 months.
So that your progress is not lost when you change or reset your device, the App can back it up to Google Cloud Firestore.

The App uses your device's built-in text-to-speech (TTS) engine to read aloud letters, numbers, and shapes during gameplay. This feature operates entirely on your device using the operating system's native TTS capabilities. No audio data, voice recordings, or speech data is collected, stored, or transmitted.
Worm Out! is designed as a general audience puzzle game and is not directed at children. The App does not knowingly collect personal information from any user, including minors. The App contains no social features, no chat and no user-generated content. We do not build advertising or behavioural profiles of individual players: the usage analytics described in Section 5A are aggregated, and advertising is handled by Google AdMob under the settings described in Section 5.
If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the UK GDPR apply to any personal data processed in connection with the App.
The App itself does not collect or transmit personal data. Advertising data processed by Google AdMob is governed by Google's privacy practices and is conditional on your consent, which we collect on first launch using the Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) consent form. You may withdraw or change your consent at any time through your device's ad settings.

All of the services above are operated by Google LLC. No other third-party service used by the App collects user data.
We do not collect names, email addresses or other directly identifying information, so there is no personal profile of you to be exposed. The analytics, advertising and backup data described in Sections 5, 5A and 5B is transmitted over encrypted connections and stored by Google under its own security controls; cloud backups are further restricted by security rules so that only the account that created a record can read it. Game progress and preferences held on your device are protected by the standard security measures of your device's operating system. We recommend keeping your operating system up to date to benefit from the latest security patches.

Upon deletion, all locally stored game progress and preferences are permanently removed.
A cloud backup (Section 5B) is not removed by uninstalling the App. To have it deleted, email muhammetozata1991@gmail.com from the Google account linked to the backup, or — if the backup was never linked to a Google account — state that you would like your anonymous backup deleted and we will remove it. Requests are actioned within 30 days.
Analytics events (Section 5A) are retained by Google Analytics for Firebase for up to 14 months and are then deleted automatically. Advertising data is retained by Google under its own policies; you can reset or restrict your advertising identifier from your device settings (Section 5.3).
The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from:
We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or policies of any third-party services, including but not limited to Google AdMob. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party services that interact with the App.
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the developer, Muhammet Özata, from and against any and all claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, or debt arising from your use of the App, your violation of any term of this Privacy Policy, or your violation of any third-party right, including without limitation any intellectual property or privacy right.
This Privacy Policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Turkey, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under or in connection with this Privacy Policy shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Turkey.
We reserve the right to update or modify this Privacy Policy at any time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated "Effective Date." Your continued use of the App after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
